Echo Nest Goodness
Wednesday, April 1, 2009
It looks like the guys over at the Echo Nest have added a new metric, called Goodness, to their developer API.
On a zero to one point scale, it’s nice to see that Hungry Fathers rates a whopping 0.75 (compared to Joe Satriani’s paltry 0.05).
Our Insta-Critic rating is a sobering: “This band would sound better if they played softer (much softer).”
It’s true what they say: everyone’s an (Insta) critic!
Go ahead and check it out for yourself.
